Instructions on modifying your current account information or adding a new identity to Outlook Express.

Replacing your current account with your new Lyonshost.com account info:
1. Open Microsoft Outlook Express. If necessary, log on with your Identity name & password.
2. Select Tools>Accounts, then select the Mail tab.
3. Select the mail account shown there and click Properties.
4. Change the Mail Account to your name or your domain name (for example, Betty User’s Account or My ‘domain.com’ Account.
5. If necessary, change the information in the Name field.
6. For your e-mail address, enter your new lyonshost.com e-mail address. This is the one with the ‘@’ sign in it.
7. If desired, specify a Reply Address. If you do not specify a different address, your E-mail address will be used by default.
8. Click the Servers tab.
9. Your incoming and out going mail servers will be your new lyonshost.com domain name with the prefix ‘mail.’
Note: Some Internet Service Providers will require that you specify their outgoing mail server in order to send mail. If you are unable to send mail after setting up your account, please contact your ISP or visit their web site to see if they require you to use their outgoing mail server. Make the necessary changes to the outgoing mail server field and also to the server authentication information in step 13. If you are still experiencing difficulty, please contact us at

10. In the Account name field, enter your new lyonshost.com account information. This is the information with the plus (+) sign and must be entered all lower case.
11. If you want to save your password and not have to enter it each time, select the Remember Password check box and enter your password in the field.
12. Select the My server requires authentication check box.
13. Click Settings and verify that the Use same settings as my incoming mail server button is selected. This is if you are using your new lyonshost.com account for both the incoming and outgoing mail server. See note after Step 9.
14. Click the Connection tab. Select the connection option that you use for connecting to the Internet.
15. Click Apply.
Creating a new identity using your new Lyonshost.com account info:
1. Start Microsoft Outlook.
2. Select File>Identities>Manage Identities
3. Select New.
4. Enter the name of the new identity. Click OK.
5. You will be asked if you want to switch to the new identity. Select Yes.
6. The Internet Connection Wizard will start.
7. Enter your Display name and click Next.
8. Enter your e-mail account. This is the one with the ‘@’ sign.
9. Click Next. Your incoming and out going mail servers will be your new lyonshost.com domain name with the prefix ‘mail.’
