So, you're on the road and didn't take a computer, but you have access to one. How do you check your e-mail? Read on..

Checking your e-mail from 'the road' is easy with Lyonshost.com. In fact, we give you 3 different applications from which you can check e-mail.

1. Open a browser window and in the address field, type http://www.yourdomainname.com/webmail, where 'yourdomainname.com' is the domain you are hosting with Lyonshost.com.

2. You will be prompted to enter your username and password. Use the following format:

Username: name+yourdomainname.com
Password: your e-mail password

Note: your e-mail and Lyonshost account passwords are probably different!

3. Click OK.

4. The cPanel Mail Management screen will appear.

5. Select the mail client you wish to use: NeoMail, Horde or Squirrelmail. All three packages perform the same features, albeit a bit differently. Take some time to peek at each of them and see which one fits your needs the best.

In addition to checking your mail, you can perform basic e-mail account maintenance using the [Change Password] [Forwarding Options] [Autoresponder Options] [BoxTrapper] [Aging] links.

6. When you are finished, be sure to log out of the e-mail application AND log out of cPanel.

If you want to check your mail via a secure server, select the Secure link below the applications listing. You will need to verify the security certificate and log back in using your account information.
